Test on Adhikāra
Musings of my Chaitra Navaratri Sādhana
It all started when I just finished my Kriśnapakśa Aśtami upāsana for Baba & was told about the then upcoming Navarātri, which is considered very potent for Śakthi sādhana; with all the determination I was geared to do this sādhana at any cost.
As I was part of the group of people who were being guided Shri Rajarshi ji, the niyamas and padhathis for the sādhana reached to me with ease fortunately. Though, the no of māla japa was not of my adhyatmika experience, I was bound to complete the said count within Chaitra daśami; what came as a surprise was the nature of the deity that I will be worshipping.
This is where a small clip from the several podcasts of Shri Rajarshi ji just comes into my mind - “In Tantra, only after the blessings of Bhairava(ultimate form of purushatatwa) one can get the adhikāra to get the blessings of the divine feminine - Śakthi”. No wonder the iconography of every Śaktha deity will have Shiva/Bhairava lying underneath Devi, no upāsaka/sādhaka can go through another route here.
Just as I entered Chaitra trithiya with my sādhana, all I could see around me was a complete dance of māya, everything that my mind had some interest about became so significant around me that all I was doing was to just think about the desires instead of focussing on my sādhana, I failed miserably; but this is also how you learn!
I am so glad to have taken up this spiritual exercise, the lessons are humongous.
Jai Maa Tara.
Jai Bhairav Baba.
